About The Instructor
Hi, I'm Holly Wilson.
My passion for movement and teaching began at an early age with the influence of my mother. She was the first to introduce Belly Dance to Southwest MO, and grew a large student base of ladies whom she empowered through her classes, workshops, and performances.
I went on to excel in many forms of dance including ballet, tap, and jazz. I studied dance at Missouri State University and danced briefly with the Springfield Ballet Company.
Intention is one of the most powerful forces there is. The meaning behind a choice will always determine
I believe in the power of joining higher consciousness with movement.
In my early 20’s, enthusiasm for fitness lead me to become an ACE Certified Aerobics Instructor and Personal Trainer. I also began a small personal training business, all while beginning a long and rewarding career in healthcare. After marrying, my husband and I moved to St Louis and began building our careers. Eventually, we began traveling all over the world, living in Australia and Ireland. This began a new journey, and ended the focus I had in fitness.
By the time I was 40, I was completely out of shape and 20+ pounds overweight. I saw changes in my body I didn’t like and as a result, my self esteem suffered.
In 2013, I began teaching fitness again, and instantly knew this was something I wanted to share. Motivated to bring fitness and yoga to others, I achieved a 200 Hr YTT, and founded Intentionally Fit, LLC. In 2020,during the COVID pandemic I created MetaMovement to bridge intentional yoga sequencing to powerful thought changing mantras.
